Welcome to The Daffodil

 

An award winning conversion from 1920's Art Deco picture house in 1998 produced a unique and dramatic setting for a stylish restaurant that retains many original features and as well as it's original name. With sweeping staircases and views to wow from mezzanine Circle Bar, The Daffodil now lends itself equally well to the intimacy of a special occasion, the hair loosening abandonment of a party, as well as wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Our main menu has a little something for everyone using locally sourced ingredients and all cooked to Michelin standard. In addition, 'the Dailies' menu provides a range of fixed price options incorporating seasonal specials and is available every lunchtime and early evening. On Monday evenings you can also sample our chef's choice menu to to accompany our regular evening of live jazz.

Christmas Menu Now Available

With Christmas round the corner, our Head Chef Mark Davidson has made some beautiful dishes that will stir up all the tastes and memories of a traditional Christmas including Herb Buttered Gnocchi with glazed parsnips, Roast Turkey with homemade Orange & Cranberry stuffing and not forgetting our very own Sticky Toffee Christmas Pudding.  If your tastebuds are sizzling and you would like to see more then please look at our menu pages.
