Clive Morton

Clive Morton is an absolute jazz legend, having performed alongside some of the greats including Sinatra, Stephane Grappelli and many more!

Pete Gill

My swing band is an excuse for me to play the type of jazz and swing that I love – standards that were made famous by the likes of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and more recently Michael Buble, Eva Cassidy and Peter Cincotti. Songs written by those supreme composers and lyricists such as Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart.

Roy Forbes

Roy Forbes is a Jazz/Soul Singer based in the West Midlands region of the United Kingdom. For many years he was the singer with Jamaican saxophonist Andy Hamilton and his band the Blue Notes. Roy sang on their album entitled "Jamaica By Night".

Pete Butler

Pete Butler is an accomplished singer pianist, equally adept in performing a variety of styles, from jazz standards to current chart material. Having spent many years cultivating his keyboard and vocal skills he has crafted a versatile style that blends traditional style with contemporary substance to create sound that transcends genres.

Pete's earliest musical passions and influences were routed firmly in pop and rock. Listening to the Beatles and indie rock eventually morphed into funkier territories with Stevie Wonder largely to blame for his discovery of jazz, soul and blues. Opportunities to learn jazz by playing regularly in a Cheltenham based jazz trio performing the standards, opened up a new world of playing styles, sounds and influences that are still being cultivated today. Although this appreciation for jazz has moved him in different directions he is still more than happy to 'rock-out' and blast out the pop classics at every opportunity!

Kim Cypher

Kim Cypher is one of the most exciting female saxophonists, vocalists and composers in the South West, having developed her own unique ‘funky’ style of saxophone playing, built upon influences by great players such as Gerald Albright, Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis, Andy Sheppard, Dean Fraser, Courtney Pine and Grover Washington. Kim trained alongside American saxophonists Pee Wee Ellis (saxophonist with James Brown and Van Morrison) and Andy Snitzer (Paul Simon, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin and Christina Aguilera to name just a few) plus internationally acclaimed jazz saxophonist Andy Sheppard. Kim’s vocal style has been influenced by the great Billie Holiday together with a wide range of vocalists including Imelda May and Caro Emerald.
