Book your table online for our first Monday night Jazz on 11th February

The painters and decorators from B.G.Brain have been doing a fantastic job working seven days a week to make sure all the detail is perfect. As you can see from the photo Laurence came in to inspect their handy work! Hooray they got the thumbs up. The chocolate brown colour together with bronzes has given the restaurant a really warm and intimate feeling even without any furniture.

Don´t forget to book your table online for our first Monday night Jazz on 11th February with Casey Greene playing on our brand new raised stage area.

Reducing our carbon footprint

We are delighted to announce that we will be back to business from 6:30pm Monday 11th February. Our Monday night live jazz will resume, headlining with Casey Greene and his five piece band, entertaining from our new raised stage.

Once the cherry pickers were out of the way our new under floor heating system was put in. Along with our new recycling stations and energy efficient lighting we really are reducing our carbon footprint.

End of the second week

Well the end of the second week has seen some vast changes to the upstairs. The new Bollinger Champagne & cocktail bar is starting to take shape. As you can see, the bar is still a semi circle but back against the wall. This has given way to a larger seating area which will be having sumptuous booth seating and leather chairs, ideal for dinner, afternoon tea or a cheeky cocktail!

Next week will see a general overview of both the restaurant and bar, so tune in on Tuesday for more exciting pictures and news from The Daffodil blog.

Work has started

Works started here at 7.30am on 2nd January which even though early was very exciting and all involved could not wait to get stuck in. The first week has seen a complete stripping of The Daffodil interior; we have lost all the furniture including the banquette seating which used to be in the centre of the room. We had to get two cherry pickers into the restaurant so the painters could reach the ceiling which was a tight squeeze we might add!
