Why not try one of our cocktails of the week:
Cocktails of the Week
Burt Lancaster £6.00
Ingredients: Bulliet Bourbon, Apple Juice, Lemon Juice and Rosemary.
Method: Pour bourbon and a sprig of Rosemary into a mixing glass and muddle gently with a pestle to release the Rosemary flavour, add a teaspoon of Lemon Juice and Apple Juice, shake with ice and double strain into an old fashioned glass or tumbler filled with ice. Also, you can rinse the glass with a splash of Orange Bitters and if you like sour drinks add more Lemon Juice. Also recommended with Makers Mark (£6.50) or Woodford Reserve (£6.95).
Tasting notes: A little sour (or to your taste) but soft and fragrant. Cleansing.
Amour Rose Martini £6.50
Ingredients: Grey Goose Vodka, Muscat de Beame de Venise, Campari
Method: Rinse the Martini glass with a splash of Campari, mix Grey Goose Vodka and the Muscat in the shaker until ice cold and strain into glass.
Tasting notes: You'll first savour the sweetness of the desert wine, then, the vodka will cut clean through it and it will leave a bitter after taste of the Campari. A fine, elegant and very well balanced drink. Ideal as a aperitif.
