About The Venue

Owner Mark Stephens converted The Daffodil cinema into an art deco brasserie in 1997. Mark ran the restaurant for a number of years before selling the venue.

Mark Stephens has returned to passionately resolve unfinished business. The Daffodil is Gloucestershire's most stylish brasserie and the most highly regarded dining experience in the Cotswolds.

Allow the glorious height of the restaurant interior, the mouth-watering cuisine, and the soul-satisfying atmosphere to transfer you from the outside world into relaxation and luxury.

Mementoes of The Daffodils past life as a 1920s art deco cinema are all around you; the sweeping staircase on entry with the original mosaic tiles, the posters advertising films, early vending machines and projectionist machinery still remain as part of the interior.

From every table you can see the hustle and bustle of the busy kitchen; positioned where the old cinema screen previously captivated people's attentions.

The kitchen offers a classic combination of simple but tantalizingly unique cuisine while the outstanding atmosphere and service offers you an exclusive experience for every occasion.

Spoil a loved one, dine with friends, meet with clients or throw a party, find yourself swept away in the energising atmosphere and take pleasure in The Daffodil experience.
